Autism Recognition, Response &
Safety A Training Session Designed For First Response Professionals,
Law Enforcement, Parents, Educators and Community Recognize
behavioral characteristics and high risks associated with children and adults
who are affected by autism spectrum disorders; and gain a practical understanding
of specialized response techniques to increase safety for all. August 10, 2011 Huntsville,

Three
sessions will be offered, specifically designed for each group of first
responders:
Both
morning and afternoon sessions will be located on the campus of the University
of Alabama in Huntsville, at the Bevill Conference Center, 550 Sparkman Drive
NW, Huntsville, AL 35816. The evening session will be held at 100 Jetplex Blvd
SW, Huntsville, AL 35824, where childcare will be provided.
Lunch will be provided between the morning and afternoon
