The LEGENDS of Huntsville Hockey
March 21 - 22, 2014
Propst Arena, Von Braun Center, Huntsville, AL
The legendary Huntsville hockey players return to the ice wearing special jerseys to promote autism awareness. After the Legends face off in a scrimmage game, these colorful jerseys will be signed by the players, then made available to you through silent auction. The net result of your gift will benefit local children with autism and their families.
The Autism Resource Foundation would like to thank
for their generous support in being our 2013 charity golf tournament's TITLE SPONSORS!
In honor of Randle Barrow, a young boy with Autism who tragically made his way to heaven just days prior to his 9th birthday, The Autism Resource Foundation has created the Barrow Memorial Fund.
Please visit any Redstone Federal Credit Union and mention the "Barrow Memorial Fund" to donate directly into this very special fund.
100% of all donations collected will be used to fund a scholarship program in Randle's name. The proceeds of the Barrow Memorial Fund can provide much-needed financial assistance to families and children on the autism spectrum in North Alabama. Funds will be used to provide therapy, education, training, support and technology to families struggling with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
This is one way to honor Randle and keep his memory alive, and to help bring awareness to issues that parents with special needs children may be struggling with.
We have also been in the process of coordinating a meeting with several local non-profit organizations and business partners this week to collaborate efforts in establishing this scholarship program.
Many thanks to the following organizations who are coming together to help in this effort:
Making Connections ASD Networking Group
Autism Society of Alabama
Collaborations Child Development Center
The Riley Center Behavioral and Educational Center
If you or your organization would like to be involved in any way, please contact us by sending an email to email@example.com or calling us at (256) 975-1579.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
